Volunteering:

If you would like to be a volunteer at Ridge Elementary School, you must be fingerprinted at the Board of Education office. You can be fingerprinted on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
You must be fingerprinted each school year.  Should you have any questions please the Board of Education Office at 440-255-4444.

VOLUNTEER BACKGROUND CHECK GUIDE

Background checks are run at the Mentor Board of Education office Door 1. 

Located at 6451 Center Street, Mentor, OH 44060     No appointment needed. 

Office hours are Mon-Weds-Fri from 11:30am-4:30-pm. 

****Photo ID required to run the background check****

You will be asked to provide your Social Security number.

Minors must have a consent form signed by a parent or guardian.

Results will be emailed to you at the email address provided on the waiver. 

 Results may take up to 30 business days

Background checks will NEED to be done every school year
