Hello Ridge PTA Members,

 

As the 2025-2026 school year swiftly comes to a close, the Ridge Elementary PTA is excited to present several beloved programs: the VIP Dance, Teacher Appreciation Week, and our 2nd annual Volunteer Appreciation Meeting.

 

It’s also time to start planning for the 2026-2027 Ridge Elementary PTA Board. The PTA relies on parent volunteers for its operations and activities. Therefore, we are seeking three PTA members to join the nomination committee to recruit the 2026-2027 Ridge Elementary PTA Board. Nominations will be announced at the March 4 meeting, with voting taking place on April 29.

 

Our current by-laws state that all positions are voted on annually, and an individual may only serve in the same role for two years. Consequently, we have several board members who will be leaving based on student grade or who cannot continue in their current role even if nominated. However, current board members who have reached their seat limit can serve in different positions if nominated, desired, and voted in by PTA members.

 

Current Positions:

- President: Linda (2 years served in role)

- Vice President: Parthena (Interim 2+, 5th grade parent)

- Vice President: Tina (2 years served in role)

- Treasurer: Caitlin (1 year served in role)

- Secretary: Alex (0.5 years served in role)

- Recording Secretary: Kat (1 year served in role)

 

We need three people to help with nominations and encourage everyone to consider taking a board position. It's a fantastic way to connect with families, teachers, staff, and students at Ridge. The experience is invaluable and deeply rewarding.
