Important Reminders: Car Rider Safety & Efficiency
Dear Parents,
To ensure a smooth and safe car rider line for our students and staff, please follow these updated guidelines:
Morning Drop-off
- Safety First: Drivers should refrain from using cell phones in the car rider line for the safety of all students and staff.
- Pull Forward: Park all the way forward to maximize the number of cars unloading at once.
- Prepared Students: Ensure your child is ready to exit immediately with breakfast completed, coats on, and bags in hand.
- Independent Exiting: If possible, have your child open the door and exit independently. Staff members are available to assist as needed.
- Quick Goodbyes: Please save long hugs for home and practice quick exits to keep the line moving.
Afternoon Pickup
- Safety First: Drivers should refrain from using cell phones in the car rider line for the safety of all students and staff.
- Independent Buckling: Encourage your child to buckle themselves to keep the flow of traffic steady.
- Assisted Buckling: For younger children needing assistance, please pull into a side spot or the front parking lot to buckle them safely before exiting the campus.
- West Entrance (Deepwood): Please enter from the west, especially if you are running behind schedule.
- Officer Assistance: On-duty officers are only permitted to assist cars exiting from the parking lot.
Note: We prioritize student safety above all else and may take extra time as needed to ensure every child is secure.
